No Child Left Behind: Our Commitment to Education for All

I was lucky to have access to education, and I never had to worry about losing it. But growing up helped me understand that not everyone in the world gets the same chance to learn freely and feel empowered.

For the past 46 years, people around the world have remembered the Day of the African Child. This day honors the brave students who lost their lives in South Africa in 1976 while protesting an unfair education system. They stood up for their right to learn in their own language instead of a foreign one.

Education should be made in a way that fits a child’s needs and learning style, so they can grow confidently and become the best version of themselves.
